This is the story of how the family house and business grew together; the development of the gardens from a slightly crumbling setting for some beautifully old blooms to an old rectory walled garden with many walks and 'rooms' using architectural design, a mix of modern and old artefacts and who knew the early gardens would consider our 12 years of effort a respectful but joyous transformation. For me, this time, as the gardens and our plans unfurled, provided soothing respite and enjoyment from the frenetic world of global retail.
